Channel 5 has 2 video reports up today about critical mass.
I'm in favor of more bicycles, and more use of bicycles rather than cars and SUV's, and at least 1 day a week, no cars, bikes only, bike commute only.

I’ve done Critical Mass rides in NYC, Miami, LA, Charlotte and a few other cities, but nothing compares to the size and wackiness of our rides. I'm glad they haven't tried to shut down Critical Mass in SF lately. People just need to relax, hop on a bike and enjoy a massive urban group ride once in a while.

Mayor Willie Brown was the one trying to shut it down in SF. He is long gone.
I think getting the word out is important. If people know this will occur when it does, then they can plan ahead, rather than just get caught unawares.

That would be ironic since Roberta Gonzales, their weather person, is an avid cyclist.
