Here I am today. Catching up on house stuff , Noon and still not out on my 40 mile ride...Did not go out last night, when saw the bright moon..Said I will do a long one today..
Do you find when the Coyotes are out baying at the Moon, you are more inclined to saddle up.? I will get out..Sort of wish I had gotten out last night..Might not get back before dinner time, If I don't hurray.

I notice the full moon when I ride, took a nice picture of it last night, which I'll upload when I get around to it. However, I don't find it makes any difference to whether or not I ride. The main thing that encourages me to ride at night is the cooler temperatures.

Got in my 40 miles today...And the Full moon is again out tonight...Just looks enticing...Plan to ride tomorrow up the coast, so no need to get out in the Full Moon.
One local club always plans on group rides when the Moon is full.

I prefer to ride at night - you can see the lights from the cars on cross streets from very far away. I really like being able to see a car 2 or 3 blocks to the side from the way the street lights light up. Temperature makes a difference too.

The full moon just doesn't seem to make a difference, really. Sometimes it's worse, because you can't see the reflections from the headlights. It does make seeing the cars without their lights on easier though...

But I work graveyards - I'm blinded by the sun a lot of the time in the day...

yes. because the moon lights up the land and makes it safer.
