We finally have a contending freeride frame from them. It isn't using a horst link but does place the pivots in odd spots. Wonder what it will be like to ride. The dropouts are overbuilt as is the front end.

Anyways...simply put...took them long enough to produce a quality FR rig. If it rides well that will be great. Looks like having shandro on the trek team really pushed this forward. Not surprised considering the all mountain lineup is lame and weak.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised with this news. Bike looks like a modified Stinky. It looks very promising.

I've never been a big fan of Trek bikes, but if this one reaches production, I may have to reconsider.

When I first saw the title of the thread I knew it had to do with the Single Pivot Diesel.

Pretty cool bike. Its starting to grow on me. Espically that headtube. Super sweet.

I am partial to the rear pivot. That excites me. 1.5 headtube is nice. And the pivots in general are huge. Looks pretty good.

the only problem I see is how long it took them. They are really behind the times. hopefully though at that pricepoint it will be competetive. At the very least good competition for the stinky and bighit might help drive prices down.

One look at the picture and I closed the page. That ****ing suspension design is used by a million different companies.....and I totally hate it. That trek is a pile of junk

You gotta admit Klein, it's a step up for Trek. I don't think I even saw any carbon on the frame. Although the rear pivot looks kinda akward, I think I like the dropout, unless I had to buy a new one.

I really don't know what to think of it yet.
