I know for a fact that I am bugging everyone with all my newbie questions, but here goes anyways. DO you think either one of these Peugeot's would be a good deal if I could get it for around 170 or so? Anyone know what model they are? The seller doesnt know a whole lot about them apparently he inherited them. Sorry for so many dumb questions.

Man, those pictures are horrible and Peugeots all look the same to me.

Here is what I think I see:
- no black lugs
- looks like a big metal spoke protector
- Maybe a kickstand on the white one

I going to guess they are lower end, but I'm no Peugeot expert either. They are both fairly small bikes too.

Yeah and they are early 70's it looks like so I doubt they are very light. I was interested because I thought I may be able to make some money on them or one of them...I probably wouldn't for what hes asking.

In my area $170 would be slightly high so there is no way you would get any profit. If you could get both for $170 you might be able to make a few bucks but who knows.

Maybe and kinda maybe. The white one appears to be a better value only because the seat appears t be in beter condition.

Both UO8's

green = early 70's
white = late 70's

Both for $170 = $85 each. Its only a deal if the seats are in good condition. Old leathers are in the $50-75 each range.

Alright, well I may offer him but I doubt he will bite. Thanks guys. You think $200 is too much for both?

No, but only if the seats are in good condition. To make money at $200 you'd need to sell the seats seperatly..

Yeah I am still communicating with the seller through e-mail. I told him that they are just not worth what he is asking and that I just do not have that much to spend. I am just waiting for HIM to make an offer haha.
