Hey guys.
Im just a normal weekend warrior road cyclist and dont know much about trackcycling. I'm interest to know your wattlevels for the 1KM(kilo). Or you 30 sec and 1 min watt values.
Anyone that want to share their info? Or info on some of the pros?
Any informations about the Elite?
Best of Kilo-Racers can produce well over 1.000 watt about 1 minute. That means 1.8000 - 2.000 watt at the (standing) start and a going-out with 1.000 watt at the finish line.
The mark for track-sprinters is the 6-sec-maximum-test. Worlds elite can produce a power of 26 watt per kilo bodyweight. The former elite-sprinter and kiloracer, German Sören Lausberg, was tested with 2.600 watt about 6 seconds (bodyweight 100kg).
Soren Lausberg....one of the greats.
Saw him at the Worlds, 2004. Frightening unit.

I think you're saying 1000w for one minute? 2000 watt start? 2600 watts for 6 seconds?
holy smokes.

There is a pdf from AIS floating around that showed a peak of 1,799 and a 399 watt finish for a male at an int'l completition. doesn't say who it was but the avg pwer for the minute was 757. I have read that most are down 25'ish mph by the finish so a lot of die off.

Yeah, I Know this pdf. But its from a rider who drove a high 1.03 with this output. You can't win anything with this anymore today. Times came down to 1.01 or 1.00 flat. This is only possible with an avg. output round 1.000 Watt.
