According to the pre-reg, quite a few.

Why you want to buy tickets from the scalpers?

Sorry, I charge. But my fees are reasonable.

I'll be there in the 3s.

Go easy on me, I've been off the bike for awhile after a crash. But I signed up two months ago, so... 70 training miles it is. I figure the upside is that it's unlikely that I'll get pulled

Was going to, until I decided to be a good son and go home.

So how did this race go for everyone? My two weeks off bit me in the ass and I got dropped the fourth time up the hill, sort of as I expected. I had a blast racing, though, and enjoyed the park and the sunshine

If I'd thought of it I would have arranged to say hi to any fellow BFers (I was racing for University of Penn Cycling)

hmm, were you in the 4s? i saw a guy in a (maroon?) penn kit in the 4s.

i had fun, felt good, went off the front a bundle on the 3rd lap, hurt on the 4th, cramped hard, struggled to close gaps, sat on the wheels of people chasing my teammate's late break, and sprinted for a top ten spot.

fun race, but a lot harder than i thought it would be.

No, I was in the 3s, that was my teammate Matt that you saw. He at least finished the race...

I agree it was a tough field, though I've never raced in NY before. Maybe I just expected a race on Mother's Day to be a bit gentler, but I got the feeling it was a lot of people's A race. Either way, some hard training miles

I was on Westwood, talking behind you guys at the beginning of the race when a friend of mine pointed out one of your teammates as "strong." Then you guys started some banter about how he either was or was not...not really sure. Anyhow, I am sure I spoke with you even though I don't know which one you were.

I see our local espoir Adam Farabaugh finished well in the P12

i got bit by a giant bug of sorts on my leg when i got there, then after registration the guy parked next to me left a nice dent in my in-laws car door. Then i got dropped like a bad habit. Should have stayed home like my gut said.

I was out 6 weeks with a broken wrist and only had 2 weeks cast free to train for it. Not enough.....
