Thanks everyone!

Actually, it's still June 3rd, right? I'm in Italy preparing to leave for the northern part of Italy and into Switzerland. I leave (gulp) on Saturday morning. So far, it's been a very relaxing day. I saw the Pope yesterday in Roma, then hightailed it back to Trento on the overnight train, which broke down at every stop along the way... but still, a good ride back to the north. I'm not feeling stressed now that I'm one year older and in a new age box too! So that's something to celebrate, right?

Thanks again. It's been a bit quiet, but that's ok for me. Take care, everyone!

I think I get the idea. BTW, I haven't seen you around here much lately, where have you been? :)
first of the year i was still working alot and then i spent more time riding .. 7 centuries in 2.5 months were a snap... training for the marine corps marathon in washington with http://www.jeansmarines.com
and i hit a health snaggle.. had to drop everything for a bit.. 7 weeks later and i am no further ahead so i took it upon myself to start up mtn biking...lol did a womens mtnbike clinic on the may24th long weekend?
it rained for three days... i got a prize for falling the hardest, flying the furthest and getting up the fastest. i have bruises on my bruises.. and they all have names..lol
the account of the ride is here http://www.theride.ca they asked me to write about it.. look under the title 4 the gurlzs. my instructors were incredible.. some of the best mtn bikers in canada.. and the canada cup is racing this sunday on the course i was learning on....... i just knew it wasn't me that thought it was tough..lol
now i know if i can do trials, ride on rocks and hit that many trees in three days and survive...i can get over this health blip... ya think?

as for other sites.. you know i frequent bicycling.com and i am always checking out canuck runner and mtbike review... other than that......... like you...it's work work work... but tomorrow.. i mean in about 5 hours- i RIDE!!!!
sunday i am doing the becel ride for heart it is only 75kms but it is all uphill. whhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee coming back..
take care

Again thanks. Even late, the well wishes are nice to get.

Believe it or not, I'm still having my sisters and parents hunt me down to get me a belated birthday. I kinda slipped out of town... everyone thinks I'm in Sweden. They must be nutso or something, because I only do Sweden in the wintertime ;) and I do Italy in the summers. Hmmmmm... maybe I should reverse that?

Thanks again. I really do appreciate the gestures. All right, I'm on my bike and out the door to Lake Como!

Take care,

Koffee

Happy belated...

I suppose you are mooching around the Tessin.
Will you be "doing" Switzerland?

If you get to Geneva...

I will definitely look you up. I'm not sure where Geneva is in relation to where I'm going, but my buddy is somewhere north (?) of Lugano, and then I'm probably going to stop in Zurich to see another forum member and drop in at my fitness club (Holmes Place) for a spa, then if Geneva is in the cards, I could definitely see myself stopping through for a day if you've got a space for me on a couch or something like that...

Don't email me, I've turned that mess all off to save on my space. I'll drop a PM to you when I get to Switzerland.

Thanks!

Koffee
