Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The second of this year's challenges, a little shorter this one to lead up to the Bikeforums TdF in July. I was a little late posting this, I was supposed to have it up on 1 June. The challenge is a virtual ride through the Canadian rockies, covering 1,206km. Distances ridden since June 1 can be counted, with the intention of finishing by July 2, so it's just over a month. More info about the terrain etc (and a few photos) can be found at http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/rocky/rm1200.html.

There is even a stage list at http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/rocky/controls.html, but I have no idea where most of those places are!

So who's up for a crack at this one?

I'm in. Shouldn't be a problem as my weekly mileages are up lately. Riding it in 109 (40c) degree heat will just add to the challenge! Luckily the humidity will not kick in until the end of the challenge.
