"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Couple questions about the leader's jersey in pro tours

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

1. In a TTT like today, does the winning team get to decide who on their team wears the pink jersey the next day?
2. Is the pink jersey they wear on the podium actually printed? If so how do they print it so fast? Or do they have one lying around just in case they win it? In that case, how do they crank out a custom leader's jersey skinsuit / kit if there is a time trial the next day?

1. Not to sure
2. If its like the system Hincapie Sports Wear provided the Tour of Cali yes. The system us sublimation to integrate the ink into the jersey and is already almost instantly. Check out this video of it http://vimeo.com/groups/iheartbicycles/videos/3293557

Well yes and no. The first person crossing the line on the winning team gets to wear the jersey. But, the team usually determines ahead of time who that will be. Sometimes does not work out as planned though. Just ask Mr (why the he** did you finish in front of me) Di Luca.
