I'm looking to either start or join a non-racing / non-competitive road cycling group in the Palm Beach Gardens area with people in their 30s and 40s. Here's why:
- I'm sick of the cycling groups with guys that are ultra-competitive.
- I'm sick of the groups that leave at the crack of dawn - I've got young kids and a job as well. Sometimes it's easiest to get away after the morning breakfast / crazyness has subsided.
- I'm sick of the guys in their 50s and early 60s who have their buddies and don't want to give me the time of day.
- I'm sick of riding the same routes over and over and over (Jupiter Island, etc.) although there may not be much choice on that.
I ride at about a 16 to 18 mph pace and normally like to go out for 35 to 50 miles. I've been riding for 3 years. I can paceline but I find that to be really boring after a while if that's all we do. I am primarily interested in weekend rides.
If you're older than 30s/40s, that's fine - I'm not discriminating but I don't want to keep having similar experiences to those I have mentioned above.
If you're interested, contact me and we can try to make something happen.
