Last Friday my buddy and I took a ride up the cottonwood creek trail about 35 out of boise, just up forest service rd 377 off of arrowrock reservoir. It was a fantastic day for a ride, blue skies, light breeze and about 70 degrees, couldnt have been better. The ride is in part to train for our 300 mile touring trip later this year, you can check out thread on that here "Sunvalley tour 2009 (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=533986)"

We didnt park at the trail head, well because we didnt actually plan on taking that trail. We were just out riding and came across the trail and decided to check it out.

Here was a pic right near the trail head, so far so good.

Then we came to a tree or two covering the trail

But the scenery was well worth the minor trouble

Then we came to a section of the trail that was washed out for about 50 yards, parts we were able to ride, parts we had to walk the bikes over boulders and trees
