No thanx, I had the pleasure of meeting that pompous jack*** once, I'd rather eat dead rats than listen to his BS rhetoric.....
Yeah, can't wait to see it! It's a shame that a Palm D'Or winner can't get distribution from disney but what do you expect from such a heinous corporation.
Good for H Weinstein for setting up a new company to distribute it. I hope it gets a major release available in all markets.
I loved Bowling for Columbine. I think Michael Moore is one of the great social commentators of our time and one of the few with the courage and talent to create powerful motion pictures on these issues.

The "right?" Disney??? The "right?" Either you are kidding or you haven't a clue.
The "right" could not care less if you desire to subject yourself to blatant propaganda, lies, and other such Moore delights. The "right" does, however, have the right to let you know what a crock it is, to boycott the distributors, sponsors, etc.

Blah blah blah blah
Donald Rumsfeld = Joseph Goebbels
John Ashcroft = SS Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler
Eisner does NOT = the will of the Disney family

To ensure that everybody thought in the correct manner, Goebbels set up the Reich Chamber of Commerce in 1933. This organisation dealt with literature, art, music, radio, film, newspapers etc. To produce anything that was in these groups, you had to be a member of the Reich Chamber. The Nazi Party decided if you had the right credentials to be a member. Any person who was not admitted was not allowed to have any work published or performed. Disobedience brought with it severe punishments. As a result of this policy, Nazi Germany introduced a system of censorship. You could only read, see and hear what the Nazis wanted you to read, see and hear. In this way, if you believed what you were told, the Nazi leaders logically assumed that opposition to their rule would be very small and practiced only by those on the very extreme who would be easy to catch.
Change a couple of names and dates friends it hasn't been that long

There is a protocol on the 'net that when you accuse someone of being a Nazi, you lose.
Oh, and by the way, Roy Disney, the last member of the Disney family on the BOD resigned a month or more ago. Michael Eisner is the CEO and is and has been in total control of the Disney empire for ten or more years.

No, sane people would rather eat rats than sit through Moore's viciousness.

I'm aware of who Eisner is read the article http://losangeles.bizjournals.com/losangeles/stories/2004/04/19/daily11.html
More than 72 percent of participants in The Walt Disney Co.'s 401(k) program voted against re-electing CEO and then Chairman Michael Eisner at the company's annual shareholders meeting held in March, according to a press release issued by dissident shareholders Roy Disney and Stanley Gold.
In addition, George Mitchell, who at the time of the meeting was presiding director, received no-confidence votes totaling more than 63 percent from Disney's 401(k) trustee.
Gold and Disney cite documents received Monday from The Walt Disney Co. According to their news release, a total of 28,625,419 votes were cast on behalf of Disney 401(k) participants, which include past and present employees.
Eisner received a no-confidence vote from more than 44 percent of company shareholders and was stripped of his chairman title following the meeting.
Gold and Disney, who is the nephew of company founder Walt Disney, left the company in December after long-term disagreements over Eisner's ability to manage the company after its stock has lost 20 percent of its value over the past five years.
"It is hard to imagine how Mr. Eisner can do what needs to be done at this company without the support of the company's employees," said Gold and Disney in a joint statement.
In reiterating their "lame duck" summation of Eisner's management skills, Gold and Disney called on Disney's board to address the company's "leadership vacuum," as well as the no-confidence votes received by Mitchell, who received 26 percent no-confidence votes from Disney shareholders.
In reference to the Nazi thing political views aside if we blindly follow what is fed to us by the "right" we'll be in the same boat as the Germans circa 1933 Or if you prefer Stalinist Russia.

Maybe he'll make enough money from this film to buy a comb.
Moore's stuff is total B.S. He fabricated so much material for "Columbine" that it wasn't a documentry. He makes things up has he goes. He has zero credibility. Go ahead and follow Moore, he loves for people to worship him!
Mr. Moore does, of course, have the 1st amendment right to say what he believes.
God, guns, and rock n' roll - that's what makes the USA the great country it is.

Could you elaborate on that statement?

Without judging the material, I'm sure any inaccuracies would have resulted in litigation against Moore and company. It's not like the NRA to hold back :)
