Yep, he did great.
I was pleased to see some different nationalities in the top10, especially in the youth categories.
Maybe, just maybe one day they can catch up with the Belgian riders :-)
Yeah, Yeah!!!!
Hehe, I'm quite amased as to how the Belgiums do it. Do you think it's the fact that many Belgium cross stars ride at a high level on the road?
Interesting to know peoples view points.
Cheers

Well, particularly for fast races it helps when you are a good 'road' racer.
Besides, they all practice for at least 80% on the road and only 20% offroad.
If you look at Nys, he sure has the capabilities to be a champion on the road (see his Paris-Roubaix last year).
This year he will also continue on the road after the cross season.
Maybe at one point he has to choose.
De Clercq was also a star in road racing. He even went to the Tour-de-France.
I saw the Worlds on Eurosport last night, and the speed of those guys was amasing!!!!
Much respect to all the Belgium riders. I love watching videos of Cross technique...it helps me with my riding skills and shows what is possible on a Cross Bike.
I bow down to the powers of De Clerq and Nijs...awesome!!!!
