I've completed redoing the Red Rocker fixed gear. The only significant change was a longer 110 mm vs. 75 mm stem. What an improvement! The bike now fits the way that it should and, FWIW, when I'm in the riding position the handlebar blocks my view of the front hub. In this case a new stem = new handlebar tape which is ironic because the bike was designed around the old handlebar tape which I had found in my private stock. I also painted the visible portion of the handlebar red to match the frame. The bike now has 700 X 28 gator skin tires for riding on the KATY trail. I can't think of anything on it that I'd want to change.

That looks very good. I may have missed it in your previous post about building it but what paint did you end up using?
Ah, elegant simplicity at it's finest. Good job.:thumb:
