Upgrade your current bike. Then cut your hair into a mullet and call it a day

funny, but my bike now is crap, weighs around 40 pounds, and its pretty hard to pull up in the air, on my friends p2 im actually good considering im a newbie but the only thing this bike is good for its drops, , i think im goining to get the mullet, and i like the hair the way it is now, or would a felt douyble shot be a better choice then a gary fisher mullet 09?
