Sat morning riding with my wife and a friend. The friends bike is an 08 Epic expert with an X0 rear setup.
On a short but steep climb, with a lot of torque to the pedals a forked stick jams itself into the chain and bottom jockey pulley. This slams the dérailleur to wards the spokes so hard it pops the low limit screw right out of the dérailleur! I examined what had happened and I notice the limit screw was held in the dérailleur by a plastic insert. Maybe it was designed that way to prevent damage to the high priced bling bit?
