Looking at a 29er. I'm 6'1" and have a 36 inch cycling inseam, which also means I have a short torso. The bike I'm looking at (Fisher Paragon) comes in a 17.5" or a 19". The TT measures 602mm on the 17.5" and 622mm on the 19". The 602mm is a much better TT for me, but I'm concerned that I'll have too much drop to the bars.
A few questions:
1. Do you know if they cut the forks on those?
2. Can I get the bars high enough?
3. Any other issues I should be focusing on?

A positive rise stem and risers will be fine, I'm sure.

Get the 19" and run a super short stem, or get the 17" and run a long HiRise stem.

Any sense for how much room I'll have for risers (I assume you mean spacers)?

I was thinking a normal high-rise stem given the TT is pretty good as is. You think that would negatively affect handling?
