Southern California - California Coastal Ride For Hemophilia

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I don't know if it is a faux pas to cross-post something I put up in the Charity forum, but here goes:

A few of us from Riverside are going to do this ride. It's a great cause, so if any locals are interested in donating or signing up, please let us know.

(If I overstepped the forum rules by sort of double posting, sorry mods. I'm just trying to get the word out....)

Wow! Kudos to you and your friends, Brian. Sounds like a major undertaking!

Myself (San Diego) and a friend (San Francisco) have been talking about doing this sort of ride alone, but this sounds like a much better opportunity, considering SAG support etc.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but assuming you raise the minimum donation, what is included and what is not? e.g. is accommodation included?

If you raise $2500 you get to ride but you don't get accommodations. If you raise $3000, you get accommodations. If you raise $3500 you get your own room. That's how I understand it anyway.

They ask that you provide SAG, but there are lots of volunteers (especially from pharmaceutical companies) so you likely don't have to worry about that.

(Ferrino I sent you a PM about this. Anyone else who needs more information, message me and I can get you in contact with the organizers.)
