Mountain Biking - Brake Routing

I was just wondering if you guys can post a pic on how you you did the cabling on your bikes for the front disc brake. Ive seen crowns on some fork being eaten alive. Any suggestions would be helpful. Ive seen a little clip would fit into the V brake mount to hold it in place. Any good?

Zip ties, strategically placed.

I mount the caliper so the hydraulic line (or cable) runs along the INSIDE of the fork lowers. I zip tie it off at the bottom of the fork brace. I then zip tie it off in the middle of the fork brace. Then, the line makes enough of a sweep to go directly to my lever.

I've tried running it toward the outside of the lower, but it seems better protected from a "lay-down" type crash along the inside. Also, because I also zip tie it off at the middle of the brace (middle & front), it is nowhere near the tire. Where the tire is closest to the fork lowers, my hydro line runs along the front of the lower.

I'm using one of those guides up front. They're a metal clip held by a bolt that fits the hole for the Canti boss (boss has to be removed) It works pretty well from my experience. I went so far as to fabricate one for the rear stay as well using a bit of scrap and a lefr over frame canti boss.

I guess I do have a pic. It's not great, but you can see how it runs inside of the lowers and is zip tied (black) just below the fork brace and again toward the middle.
