I got a call from my sister yesterday and apparently she has pearl izumi as a customer and she got a one time deal to buy anything from them at 60% discount. I am looking to do my first triathlons this summer so I looked at the tri suits they had. now i am a total beginner and looking at their fit chart it loos as if the large is what should hopefully fit me. i have no place to try one on and this has to be ordered online only. do these suits stretch like bike shorts and give you some kind of play? also does anyone have this suit and do they like it? I figured getting such a discount i might as well get the best one they offer.
i did measure the areas and they should work out for me. if anything I think it could be a tad tall for me but i think that is better than it being too short.

in my limited experience with tri clothes, they fit similar to bike clothes in terms of stretch but every brand is different with sizing. I have XS's to mediums so its hard to tell. if you buy one, can you exchange it for a different size if it isn't right?

that is the issue, this is a one time deal, if it is unused they will return it but they wont exchange it. so i only have one shot at the purchase for 60% off. basically i will get a $200 suit for $80. going by the size chart i should be ok and at the outer limits and im only losing weight, hoping to drop a total of 18 more lbs. so i still should be good even at my goal weight. i guess we will see when i get it. my sister is placing the order on thursday.

interesting your from denver too, so is my sister and apparently pearl izumi is right there too. at least her customer. is it the company is based there? or just a distributor?
