Disciples of Scott Stapp's Christ-like posing should look elsewhere for their rhetoric. ;) Maybe Limp Bizkit will step up to the plate...
I really wonder what goes through these peoples heads? They have a fantastic thing going and then it gets ruined for "personal reasons". Being that I'll never be in that situation, I guess I'll never know.

I wonder how often "personal reasons" means one guy thinks he should be getting more than the other guy, who disagrees.
Edit: Geez I'm leaving behind a lot of typos this morning. I'm sure it's just for Personal reasons.

Creed did. Don't worry, they sucked anyways. Rejoice that another Chris Cornellalike packed it up.

There's still plenty of mediocre throat rock out there.

True, except one thing... odds are great that, even though their wives, girlfriends and personal managers tell them otherwise, they will never be as successful again which means of course......
look for a Creed reunion in 5 years.

My sentiments exactly. I felt like I had to share the good news with everyone.

You broke up. Now you just have to put yourself back together.
Kill your TV...and now that 97X is gone you should kill your radio too King of Clifton. Media outlets only serve to try to sell you on something or someone that is portrayed or designed to be palatable to the masses. It would be a better world if Creed took more of the watered down, angsty balladeers out of the picture with them. Rock still mourns the loss of the Beatles but when it comes to a band like Creed, Rock stands there, scratches its ass, vainly tries to rub the hangover out of its eyes, looks around quizzically and says "who?".
']who broke up?
Creed. They're just like the Backstreet Boys, except with distortion.

That's one less crappy mainstream band I can rip on.

If there was a thumbs-up smiley, I'd have to use it, even though I hate those awful things.
And if Creed can break up so easily, they should be able to take pap such as Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, and all those other false representations of rock bands and/or musicians.
I shed a tear the day 97X signed off. Where else could I hear KMFDM, The Fever, Wilco and Nick Cave songs in the span of 15 minutes? :(

Nowhere my friend. It was a sad day.

No problem, check out Puddle of Mudd, or that Amazing Canadian band Nickelback. This reads better if sarcasm is used. Personally I thought Creed, Mudd, Nickelback et al were one band. Great acts like these helped contribute to the lack of a radio in my house. Now is Queens of the Stone Age ever split, that would suck.

Yeah, there's always them. About the only credit I give to Puddle of Mudd is for having one ******** hilarious video for "She Hates Me."

Did they break up or did they just lose another main guy? If they did lose one guy, it was Nick, not Josh, and Josh wrote the better songs anyhow, so it could be an improvement.

Or maybe one of them just farted too much.
Anyway, I've heard of them, but never heard them. Any good? Either way, I'll still sleep well tonight.

Broke up.
They probably realized that their days were numbered. A breakup is a smart move. This way, they can get together 10 years from now, sell a bunch more records, go on tour, and make millions more. The beauty of it all is that they can pull it off without having to write a single note of new music.
After all, it worked for the Eagles.

****ty. But hopefully Josh Hohm (sp?) will have a better solo career.
On another note: did the break up of Creed really deserve a two-page thread?

Yes. Only because it gives us opportunity to rip on them for the crap band that they were.
