For parts cleaning I use a plastic oil-change pan and a plastic noodle colander from the Asian market.

And don't dump the solvent down the drain!

You have a lot of crazy stuff.. is that a vintage chainsaw there.. the blue one? My dad has one like it called a comet... he's a pack-rat too.

^^ It is a saw. Forester neighbor gave it to me because he knows I'm a nut for two-stroke engines. My 'main' saw is almost vintage - - big ol' 4.5 cu in Lombard (think Canadian version of the old Homelite XL12). Manual-oiler and a beast, but does it hog out chips :).

Oh, and I'll have you know I'm not a packrat . . . I'm a "collector." :D

Hey your close! I was cleaning up 2 small front wheel drive tranny cases after disassemling them in the breakfast room.Well, while I was at it I cleaned up one of my bike chains and cassettes. alot of the crud got scraped out of the sink before picture.
What's that little scooter you got there? I used to have a '65 honda trail 90 I used for hunting to haul my gear inbound. I would lift the thing in and out of the truck by hand, quite convenient.
The little fart gave all kind of trouble though, the alternator would get water in it because it was impossible to seal and the stator would short and to boot, the rotor would rust..lol.
The dry clutch got me stuck a few times too. The little retainer tangs on the aluminum clutch basket would wear down and as a result, the clutch assembly would fly apart:)
Interesting storage position for the cherry picker boom:)

Interesting storage position for the cherry picker boom:)It's a little Mini Trail. I bought it from a neighbor when his boy graduated up to a 'real' bike. I rode the kids around on it until it got so tired I had to re-ring it. I got tired of bump-starting it (not easy with an auto clutch and nearly no compression - - had to push it down the driveway about 10 times to warm the piston and rings enough to get any seal and get 'er to pop. I'd be wore out by the time it was ready to ride).
