i need to get some repairs and dont want to get ripped off so im trying to inform myself on some typical prices. i understand it may vary but i need help with some price range. thanks for the help.

how much should a flip flop hub cost with installation?

Figure 60 cents to a dollar for straight gauge dt champion spokes. Labour anywhere around $30-$60 for a rebuild. Rear flip-flop formula around $35.

Worse than paying too much is paying for a job done wrong. Wheelbuilding is one of the trickier tasks, so I'd try to find a shop with a good rep for wheelbuilding first and decent price second.

Unless your rim / hub is precious to you, it's probably cheaper to buy a new wheel. I'd figure a good $80 - $100 to replace all spokes.

I don't know if you work at a shop or not, but that sounds about right.
