I just picked up a 7 year old hardtail MTB I intend to use for single track/trail riding. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about the origins of the frame.
It's marked Aerotek M4000. The frame is double butted cro-moly. The guy I bought the bike from claimed the frame was "custom" and originated in California. Unfortunately, I can't find any references to a frame builder or company named Aerotek or a frame model of Aerotek. The only reference I've found is to a carbon fibre wheel maker in Australia, Aerotek Composites. Anyone have any ideas?
