I have a 1977 Schwinn Sierra (the short lived replacement for the Continental) in decent condition,it's been sitting in my garage for many years collecting dust. I am the orginal owner! I don't want to admit how old that makes me! I want to research it's value and look for best place online to sell it. Any suggestions?

If it needs tubes, tires, brakes, lubrication, grease and a thorough cleanup figure about $40-50.

If it is truly "Ready to Ride", $100-$150 depending on the condition of the paint.

I paid $30 for this pristine one last fall here in the midwest. This was from a reseller who sells many bikes each year. Roger

+1 $40 to $50 as is. Not worth the expense to rehab it first, as you will spend more than you will get for it.

Best bet for selling a bike in that price range: Craigs List. The shipping alone on ebay will make the bike extremely undesirable. And local pickup only auctions get next to nothing. You will find a local who will enjoy rehabbing the bike.
