Folding Bikes - Why didn't I get my GPS in December?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm dying to know how many miles I have year to date.

Got mine in late April and I've already banged out about 500 miles. Much of that just being simple commuting, and going the long way of course.

Any of you guys track your annual mileage? I don't really care that much about mine but it's cool to be able to estimate how many calories or how much you saved in gas.

One bad thing I see is I'll probably always want to do better and drive myself into the ground.

Yeah, I commute 20 miles each way and have an aversion to riding in the rain. So I have a target of 500 miles per month to make me go out in the rain sometimes! You do have to be careful it doesn't become an obsession though. I just use a cateye - GPS sounds a bit over the top!

Oh, and the long way round counts, but weekend or other social riding doesn't.
