Although I recently purchased a Trek and I'm happy with it, researching more after the fact I think Specialized would have giving me a better value.

mid range rockhopper or high end hardrock models are pretty spiffy for that price.

I would also recommend Specialized. I bought a Hard Rock Disc for 420 and its been great for me on XC trails.

Will you just be jumping it or will this be a trail bike as well?You need to decide how much of each you'll be doing to get a good idea of what you need.


I can get you into a '09 Fuji Tahoe 29er Comp for that price.

I'd go with something cheaper. With the fights that are breaking out at the jumps you frequent, you're likely to get beaten up and your $900 bike stolen.

lmao, but i think ill be fine, i showed them a new spot and helped build a couple of jumps with them so ill be fine, but im going for a norco 250 08 for 900, so i try anf get it for 850, if that doesn't workout ill be looking into a norco bigfoot or sasquatch.
