Not for me. The wife is riding again and is in the need for new clothes. Her 20 year old Descente's are showing their age. Who has the best selection to try on in the Houston area? Thanks.

Boone's, in the Museum District on Crawford north of Binz, is quite good for women's clothing. They have Descente, and are an Assos dealer, plus more brands. Bikesport, near Greenway Plaza, has some high-end and tri women's clothing.
I have bought my wife a few things at the above-listed places.

I think Sun and Ski on Westheimer might have some too, but haven't been there in a while

I can not imagine why ANYONE in or near Houston would purchase cycling gear from Sun and Ski! They are the most overpriced price gouging shop in the whole city. Very limited selection and the most ridiculous pricing I have ever seen. Go to a bike shop or some place like Performance. Leave Sun and Ski to the ski bunnies and wannabes.

For the record, Performance is a discount clearing shop for mostly low priced or last years stuff. Some of it is high quality, so I'm not knocking Performance, but it's the wal-mart of cycling, if you know what I mean.
Sun and Ski prices aren't any higher than any of the other bike shops that aren't all about selling low priced discount stuff. Go find the exact same pedals or water bottles or hrm, or socks, or whatever at Sun and Ski, Bike Barn, Sugar, West End, Boones, Northwest, etc., and see if they aren't all very similarly priced.

I can see your point, but I guess it all depends on what kind of shopper you are. I can't afford to pay high dollar for every cycling item I want to purchase so I've learned that I can "shop around" and find the exact same, "name brand" item that everyone else is purchasing at Sun and Ski for full price, somewhere else for half the price. So having just walked through Sun and Ski the day before, I was shocked to see that even their "clearance" items, are almost twice what I normally pay for anything cycling that I purchase.
