I just wanted to get the word out about the Trek Across Maine. This is a big year for the Trek, their 25th anniversary, and the Lung Association is trying to break all the fundraising and participation records of years past. The Trek is the most well organized event I've been a part of and is a good start-of-the-summer ride. Read all about it at http://www.lungme.org/site/c.ghLSJ7PLKuG/b.3006643/k.C197/Trek_Across_Maine.htm.
This will be my third year participating and am once again looking forward to the 180 mile bike ride (60mi/day over 3 days). If you can't make it up to Maine in mid-June then please help me to reach my fundraising goal. Here's a link to my fundraising page: http://www.mrsnv.com/evt/e01/part.jsp?rid=895702&id=2078&acct=8010329402

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
