Mountain Biking - Need help deciding: Giant Rincon or Trek 930 w/ rock shox front suspension

Hey everyone.. i'm a completely new person when it comes to bikes but I've recently been given an offer on two different bikes.. I really didn't find munch on the Giant Rincon bike.. so if anyone out there can help me determine the best bike out of the two.. please do..


Giant Rincon - Stock parts - $30 (No cracks or rust on frame... says there is rust on the bolts)

Trek 930 with rock shox front suspension - $125 (no cracks or rust on frame)


What do you guys think?

Umm.... any info on sizes? year? how long/abusive they've been ridden?
drivetrain parts?

Let's just assume they've been used but aren't beat up..

As far as years.. I couldn't figure that out either

Without more information, it's hard to say.

Overall, the Trek is a nicer bike, but at 4x the price, it isn't the better bike.
