I have not seen this mentioned as available.

I just found out that Shimano has a lot of tech manuals and information available in their Tech Tips area of their web site. Lots of info on 3. 7 and 8 speed gear hubs as well as sections on Road and MTB components as well as a general section which includes interchangeability information, torque specifications etc.

Interesting as when I phoned Shimano tech support some time back they did not even mention the Tech Tips area as having manuals.

BTW the Shimano America Tech Tips area has a lot more documents available than the English language section of the Shimano Europe site. I have not checked the German or other foreign language sections of the European site so have no idea what may lurk in those areas.

I disagree, definitely not the same. The Tech Docs and Tech Tips areas have different contents. The Tech Docs are the items Shimano ships copies of with their components, as well as parts lists. The Tech Tips area includes troubleshooting guides, IGH disassembly manuals, parts compatibility info etc. That is the reason I posted as there is a big difference in what is available in each area.
