Folding Bikes - Marathon Racers on a Speed Pro?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone have experience with this combination?
Stelvios and Duranos offer great performance on smooth surfaces. Problem
is some of the local roads aren't great, so fatter, lower pressure tires would open
up more routes. LBS doesn't have Kojaks.
The Speed Pro's not a TT; but the earlier version no longer produced.
Excellent tyres, just started using them on my XP. No reason why they wouldn't work well for you. They cope well with British roads.....

You will lose some speed but they are more robust. A friend of mine has them on his TT after he decided the Stelvios are too slippery and skinny for him.
After two 20 km rides on the Speed Pro, the tire switch from Stelvio to Marathon Racer was a positive move. Yes, negligibly slower, but I'm hardly a speed king. The comfort level is significantly improved and opens many new routes which were uncomfortable with higher pressure Stelvios.
The Kojaks on a new Mu SL are terrific, but I might consider installing the Stelvios for the few smooth roads where the SL's ridden.
Our P8s with BA's are still the choice for local rides for shopping, lunch, etc. The Marathon Racers have opened new venues for the Speed Pros. Mu SLs for faster rides on the handful of smooth roads.
It's fun choosing bikes for each ride; almost like choosing clothes. No, we're not wealthy, but cycling is our primary recreational outlet in China. I've owned dozens of Italian road bikes and smaller numbers of Mtn bikes. Like many others, I'd considered folders as 'toys.'
Guess what?

I use a combination of BA and Supreme at the rear. This weird set up seems to meet my needs for a bike that can handle kerbs and urban demands, yet be able to tour.
