That one could be in interesting one, a bit expensive at $75 but the ride should be beautiful.
And Levi will be there.

October 3rd.

That looks like a tough route. What's the total climbing for the long ride?

Well the cause is to raise money for hosting the tour of california stage in santa rosa. Which is why its a bit on the expensive side. However saying that, I may consider riding it to support their efforts. I wonder how much total elevation gain there is.

That looks like a great route, the first part of the WCC 200km then heading further up the coast. It'd be kinda nice to head out there again and see what it's like in normal weather.

Tempted.....

Dream on Richard, it's the other way around. Goes North inland then South along the coast and finishes with a climb up Coleman towards Occidental.
Coleman is a lot tougher this way.

I'd really like to go. The holdoff for me is lodging the night before. I don't think I can afford a hotel. Anyone want to put me up?

Bikemonkey puts out a local quarterly magazine and also puts on some local races. I think they are mostly mountain bike races, like the annual boggs and the one last weekend at lake sonoma, 100k, hilly, 100 degrees death march.

Kings ridge pretty tough even with a 27. Rode it this winter. Gotta be careful on the descents
