Folding Bikes - Basket fever

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

No photo yet but after putting a basket on my kids folder I ordered a Klickfix frame adapter from Thorusa (photo snipped from his site) and put a basket on the front of my Dahon Speed TR.
Not that exact basket but it gives you a slight idea of what it's about.
Anyway I was about 95% sure I didn't like it and then I realized it was Friday afternoon and I had no beer in the fridge. God bless having a basket.
I'll get a pic later. I likely won't leave it on but it takes two whole screws and maybe 2 whole minutes to install. I'll put it on when I need it and take it off when I don't.

I just got 2 sample baskets - will post up some pictures hopefully by this weekend! It comes with an adapter suitable for most if not all folding bikes. Very modern looking and the best part is....it is folds and is collapsible!

I put a basket on my city bike a few years ago, and I think it's one of the best bike accessories I've ever had. I love being able to throw anything in there. No need for panniers, and the basket's always there and waiting :)

Don't know about you - but since attaching the frame adapter to the front of my Curve SL, the kids in my neighborhood (Yokohama) have bestowed the bike with the name "Kabuto Jitensha" after the king of all bugs in Japan "Kabuto mushi". A very high honor methinks .

Now that is funny.
Nice pic and set up John.
I see a place for water, for coffee, and now, BEER! : )
Doesn't get any better than that for preparedness!
Hopefully it'll stop raining here one day....
