My Speed P8 has some wobble to it when I really get cruising. I have set the brakes about a dozen times and had the wheel trued twice.

Also bought another rim. I'm beginning to think it's the tire. It only happens on the front. The tire doesn't look bulged or goofy anywhere.

No wobble at slow speeds when braking. My TR does not do this. I have another Big Apple I'm going to try soon as it shows up in the mail.

It's not bad or dangerous just a little annoying sometimes. I've learned to use the rear brake when I know I'm going fast and it'll happen, but I'm a front brake using kind of guy.

Anybody else?

I have a speed p8 with the original big apples and have no problems. Somethings wrong with the rim or tire.

Those wide tires can sometimes not seat in the rim correctly. I had to deflate, mess with my big apples a couple of times when I first installed them. When you mention 'wobble' to me that sounds like head tube stuff. You mention the brakes, does it only wobble when you use the front brake?

Headset? Stem soft and flexing?

Yes. Only happens when the front brake is applied. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take it to the shop I bought it from and have them check it out.
