The A2B, plus bigger tires, and a 60V 20Ah battery pack for distance and a good speed, up near 25-30mph.
Bigger wheels, 24" to 26".

I'm loving my crystalyte 5304 on my old steel mountain bike.

36V 35A but the 18Ah battery is really heavy. NiMH. I thought about going LiFePo but it was already too expensive and only would have shed about 10 pounds.

My Sun 'bent with Ecospeed mid-drive, Rolohf speed hub is fantastic. I wish it had disc brakes, that's all.

Salsa Fargo touring bike with a 500 watt Cyclone motor kit. I would use 700x38 touring tires and a 24v 20ah LiFePO4 battery set. I would have to convert the bike to a flat bar 8 speed. It should do 20 mph or more without human assist and 30 mph with. The bike would not be super heavy and can be used as a touring bike by just removing the motor & batteries.

Probably on the looks of the Optibike but can go 100 miles on a charge, no pedaling. 150 miles with pedal assistance. That's a start

I want one where I could throttle all the way to work and pedal all the way back home. Super light battery and motor. Plenty of space and attachments for hauling work supplies and extra clothes. (Clothes would be needed if I decided to go to a party that might include swimming, drinking, a shower, etc.) Also, it should be able to haul food, as in BBQ supplies, to a party. 30 + mile range with all the things described before. I'm liking my recumbent, too. No sore butt. Any model that reduces pressure to that area is also good. Nice, easily removable canopy for the summers would be good, too

Fully solar powered, unlimited range, 40 mph & torque to spare.

What a nice dream...

Damn, sounds like you are having all the fun :) Ok, so I'm amending my perfect bike to include riding to parties with you in case you need backup :roflmao2:

My perfect ebike has got to be the one which I can ET phone home with if you know what I mean. 100 miles battery with the size of an AA battery. Carbon fiber frame foldable like you see in the Transformer movie. It would be nice if it can be balance by itself like the Segway. Be it a girls magnet would also be nice. :thumb:

I want a BB assisted bicycle where the motor is sealed neatly and quietly into the frame. I also want a road bike type of frame. A cyclocross frame version of the lithium battery Optibike would be perfect. Also all the stuff needed for safe, convenient bike commuting:

- integrated F/R lights running off of the internal battery (instead of a separate battery)
- turn signal
- on/off switch for everything (motor, lights)
- F/R disc brakes
- 700x32c city tires
- 15 Ah 36v lithium ion battery
- pedal sensing variable assist
- F/R racks
- F/R fenders
- a lightweight folding solar charger

It should be possible to make the whole thing weigh about 45lbs.

In the near future, I could hope for 20 Ah 48v nanowire battery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanowire_battery) that should only weigh about 5 lbs.

I still like the Long Wheel Base Recumbant. Using a full fairing with a 500 24 volt cyclone. You can cruise at 20 mph. With a 20 amp battery go around 30 miles with a little peddling. Or since the bike is so comfortable use the motor just for hills and ride all day.

I do like the crusing to partys option. What box do I check to get that?
