Hi. I'm afraid I'm having some serious issues getting my derailer adjusted to my new crank. I previously had a cyclone performance triple crank installed on my trek 1000 (came with the bike). I stripped out the peddle on the right side so I ordered a new crank and peddles. I ordered a shimano sora triple crank setup and finally got it to install after about five set backs :( (no crank puller, couldn't find the right sized allen wrench etc etc) so now everthing is on the bike again but I can't get the gears to change correctly. I went to shimano's website but really found nothing too helpful. If you could explain what each of the two screws does I would appreciate it. And any advice to aligning this correctly for the first time would be of great help! I really appreciate any input. I've only got to ride this bike maybe 5 times since I got it due to all these problems *sigh*. I'm really hoping that I can get this done and get riding.

Thanks again!

Justin

Thanks for the links! I think I understand my problem now. I was thinking that the left screw controlled some sort of pivot when really it controls the high gears. I should have this fixed tomorrow :D Thanks Grampy!
