Hi all,

I need a new RD for My Caad9 . Will any work? I'm looking at a Ultegra 6500. Also, It says 9 speed, but will it work on my 10speed setup?

Thanks

yes a 8, 9 or 10 speed derailure will work. the thing you need to know is the cage size. a double with a standard cassette will take a short cage . a triple will take a long cage. I believe a compact will also take the short cage.

Note that while you aren't likely to stumbe across it, 8sp Dura Ace is not compatible with 8/9/10 everything else. 9/10sp Dura Ace is compatible with 8/9/10 everything else.
