Newbie here, yes I admit it, ok thats done. I bought a Sigma CPU w Cadence and have gone through the instructions have no way of knowing how to install it, I have the CPU display on my handlebar and I am trying to install the speed sensor which goes on the front fork, problem is my bike has a thick carbon fork and that stupid rubber ring supplied doesnt help in going all the way around way too tight! any suggestions, pics, and or help please!!

I think they are simply 'O' rings which are available in many different sizes. I've seen a big selection at some True Value hardware stores. I actually substituted a long enough tie wrap on my wife's bike. Also I think the one for the computer and the one for the pickup are different sizes. Make sure you're using the right one. A large fork diameter may mean the other choice is better though.

Yes, you can go lower on the fork as long as the unit will still get a signal to the head unit. Some speed sensors also have slots on them to run zip ties through. You can get long zip ties at any hardware or big box store these days.
