Aloha!

so i am back on my bike for the first time in ten years. its a dyno glide deluxe. it's bad ***** with flames and skulls. though now that i am a mom some of the coolness is taken away by the kid trailer on back. even though i really love my bike i know its not the right one for me.

by reading your forums i have kinda narrowed my choices down to Trek Pure Sport, Trek Navigator and the Electra Townie. i am looking for a comfortable bike that will put less strain on my wrists. and one that can hold my weight.

i have 2 bikes in my garage. one crappy walmart roadmaster mtn bike and my dyno. i thought my dyno would be too small (i think its a jr frame) so i tried the mtn bike first. i felt VERY wobbly on it. its junk. i think the frame is too tall. so i pulled out my dyno. its a much better feel. but it feels a little short and its made to ride completely flat areas. i want a more versatile bike. i want to be able to use it on my day to day local errands.

being a total newb i need to know what is the real difference between an 7/8/21 speed?

any suggestions would be appreciated

jen
