Pacific Northwest - Great day in the PNW

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Wife and I got out for a ride today. Only got 22 miles but thats good for me considering the recurring Achilles problems. The right one flared just a little today on the outgoing part of the ride and then just before we got back to the parking lot it twinged a little but I didn't try to go too fast and we stopped a couple of times, once in Orting at Starbucks :) and again to look at a couple of houses for sale so it was great. Finally a nice weekend. Got the corn and tomatos planted (woo hoo) I'm a farmer :)
Boy howdy, it was nice in the Willamette Valley today. I was out early for a fantastic 45 mile ride, and would have done more but I had something to be back for. Should be nice on Monday too, it would be a great day to play hookey :D

I rode out there on saturday around Lake Washington. It was awesome that you guys brought out the sun for my visit back to Seattle!
46 miles today with a moderate breeze and mid-80's for the temps. Nothing beats days like this for a ride.

I had to work Sunday...:( I was craving a ride all day! I'm taking the MTB out to Banner Forest today with a fellow forumite so hopefully that will make up for it...If the knee holds together.
I'm hoping for some leftover mud!

I got in a century yesterday - Woodinville-Duvall-Monroe-Snohomish-Arlington and back. What an absolutely spectacular day!

Saturday morning rode from my place in a 70 mile loop. I hit Buckley, Wilkenson, Enumclaw, Black Diamond, etc. There seemed to be a lot of climbing, but my Garmin said I only ascended 2500ft :(

Beautiful weather, but I am getting ready to go to England. In fact, I'll be leaving around 9.00 pm this evening.
I know, I could cancel the trip...NOT!

Did a nice ride up Ben's trail to Whoops, then rode up Upper Whoops as far as I could go until I hit some snow patches. I turned around. Then, a guy lower on the trail told me that the snow patches I saw were few and far between, and that it was henceforth clear up until Shooting Star Shelter:bang:
