I would like to learn Spanish this summer. I realize that sounds ambitious, but, let's move past that. ;)
At this point, I can't afford to go take classes. Digging around a bit, I found the textbook used by some local universities for Spanish 1-4. I was planning on just working through that on my own (I speak Italian—I'm confident enough in this method), however, one review on Amazon mentioned it was difficult to use without a professor/teacher.
Does anybody have any other suggestions/methods/books? Rosetta stone aside. :P
