Before we get started, know that I ride a recumbent, so I don't get all gussied up in the fancy duds y'all serious riders wear, especially those padded pants. I usually just ride in my grungy old sweats, huffing down the road like an old turtle :D

I got out of bed at 0500 today and dressed in my sweat pants and sweat shirt, just like I've done for the last couple of months (since it consistently got above 40 in the mornings) and got ready for my commute in. I went to the living room and turned on the TV to catch a little news and weather before I left and *whoa!* it was 55 degrees outside! I stepped out because I didn't believe it and yep, it was darned warm out there!

I turned back in and traded my sweatshirt for a T-Shirt. I still wore the pants, but I made sure I had my shorts in the trunk just in case it makes it to 70 like they promised. As I write this at 1520, it's 67, so it looks like a good call.

I do believe that this is the first time since last September that I've worn a light shirt in the morning. Excellent! :thumb:

I did the opposite, I went with shorts and long sleeves. I did ride my lowracer though. I rode in today with short and long sleeves. I defy the weather gods today. I want it to be summer NOW!
