Hate to ask a rather newbie-ish question, but well, I am. So here goes.

I have a Nishiki Bravo that I bought a few years ago (well, someone bought it for me). Stuff happened and I only rode it like twice. I know nothing about it. It's brand new and I'd like to start riding it regularly. Does anyone know anything about this bike? Is it a hybrid? Is it better to ride it on trails or on the road?

Any thoughts would be cool.

Nishiki's are no longer! They made a full range of bikes. I'm not that familiar with their models, so if you're able, A picture would help.

But I too own a Nishiki Bravo that I bought around 1996... and I am still riding it in 2007. I beat the hell out of it on single trails, mostly. The only problem I had was one time I jumped off a 3' platform and stripped the threads in the crank. Other than that, it's probably the best $250 I've ever spent.
