I got the Sigma Rox 9.0 a couple months ago by suggestion of this forum as it fit everything I needed.

It takes a bit of getting used to. The interface isn't the easiest thing to figure out at first, but now that I have finally taken the time to play with it (off the bike), it took me about an hour to feel comfortable with it.

Here were some frustrating things. First, sometimes it wouldn't read MPH and cadence. I didn't understand why, but after talking to someone found that the magnet had shifted. So, that's my fault, and it just needed to be tightened. It took me a while to figure out how to set things up. MPH instead of KPH, current date / time, home altitude. The problem here was that there's so many menus / features on the computer that it's hard to figure out how to cycle through and change things. But, there is the option to update it on your computer and sync, which seems like it would be pretty simple.

The problem there was that I think there's a problem with my docking station. I didn't realize that, because I only recently tried to sync it to check out my ride logs. I wasn't able to connect. I was pretty irritated last night trying to get it to sync, then thought maybe there was a problem with the dock.

So, I waited and called Sigma this morning. There customer service is awesome. The rep, Chad, answered my call immediately and walked me through possible solutions for about 45 minutes, before deciding that there probably is a problem with the dock. He said he'd talk to his associate and see if it could be anything else, but took down my phone number and mailing address so they could get one out to me if need be. I went on a 50 mile ride right after and came home to find a voicemail from Sigma saying that it looks like it's probably the dock and they're sending one out tomorrow.

In summary, the data not reading was an easy fix that I think is common with wireless computers and I just need to keep it tight. The interface is a bit confusing at first, but once you use it a bit it's easy to maneuver. Customer service is great. I would not hesitate to buy another sigma computer.

Just wanted to follow up on this. I received the new dock 2 days after getting off the phone with Chad at Sigma. It was a dock issue and everything works great now. I love the computer and the data analysis is amazing!

I used my computer (not the ROX) to put all the settings and adjust everything and honestly, that was a breeze. It took me about 30-40 minutes initially to set everything up and I was up and running.

I also agree about their customer service. Very professional and quick to respond.
