I managed to fit some 700x32 ritchey speedmaxs on them. Aside from mud clogging up my calipers, anyone see a problem with this? will i damage my road bike? Also, I have a pair of mavic cosmos with 24F/28R and I weigh about 165. Will that work out or should i use 32f/32r?

Other than the fork issue, you could probably do it. I saw a guy racing on a carbon Trek Madone with a 29'er suspension fork one time.

Pretty well actually. The courses here in Florida are completely dry in the "winter".

Not a good idea. If you want to have fun, just get a used rigid MTB and go at it.
