Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - I got the short end of the stick

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Yesterday, after work, my wife and I were discussing our commutes. (we both rode yesterday) I told her how I got screamed at by a passing car load of teenage girls who I think were trying to scare me. :notamused: She laughed and said that she got whistled at by some guy at a fast food drive in that she was passing. Now I admit, she is a little, ok a lot, easier on the eyes than I am. But is it too much to ask that I get some appreciation? The only positve feedback I've gotten since I started riding to work was "dude, you got some big calves." and this was from one of the guys... Sorry, just feeling a little sorry for my self and I thought I would share it for your amusement.

It's all in your mind. Those girls were probably screaming because they were overcome with passion. It's a good thing they zipped on by, or they might have tackled you right there.

I was on a charity ride in Michgan with my bro-in-law who is a Michigan State alumni. During the ride, all the cute young (college) girls kept yelling insults at me. I was begiining to wonder why all the hotties kept yelling "Old Farty" whenever we would ride by. Was it some sort of local thing? I was beginning to get really upset -- I'm still only 49!!
Well, being the dummy that I am, I found out they were cheering on my bro-in-law who was wearing his green MSU Spartan jersey. "Go Spartie" sounds alot like "Old Farty"!!
