These have a extended pad for heel of hand as well as a bit of and riser on the end as one piece. Picking up my new TREK 4500 on Friday and thought these might give some variation in hand positions for riding distance.
Anybody tried these?

are you talking about the ones that look like the ergons?

Ive never used the Eleven81 ones, but put a pair of ergons on my GF's new SS ride. She likes them, but I can't stand the way they feel. I have used other Eleven81 grips, and they felt okay, but seemed to be made kinda cheap. We sell a lot at the shop, but a lot of people say they don't like them. If you like that style, I'd say go for the ergons.

I've used ergonomic grips and hated them. I felt like I couldn't readily change hand positions. They got switched to Ruffians after a few rides. But to each their own.
