I'm new to this. We have a couple of Yeah bikes that use the Shimano SL-TX50-6R shifters. On one bike, the plastic housing for the shifter is cracked / broken. It's a 6 speed shifter. Does anyone know if it can be replaced with another brand shifter? If not, is there somewhere one can buy a replacement online?

Looking around on the internet, I see the part listed, but not a place to purchase it.

Your local bike store should have no problem finding one for you. They may not stock it, but should be able to order it.

Sjscycles.co.uk lists two 6 speed grip shifters: one Shimano and one Sun Race (which should also work)
