Thoughts? I went and saw it at the midnight showing. Decent, and worth seeing if you like the Sarah Conner Chronicles and other stuff in the genre.
Heard from a kid in my classes who is anal retentive that it wasn't that good.
I was turned off when I saw it was PG-13, but it can't be worse than any of the Spiderman movies... so I'll see it... eventually.
The first Terminator Movie was the only one I liked. It never got any better than that... IMHO

The movies are half assed and silly, but for some reason watchable. I've typically enjoyed watching them when I'm bored and they're on. However, I've never been real fond of that guy who played John in this one. That dumbass equilibrium movie made me think a lot less of him. Because of that, I'll probably watch it after it comes out on DVD and somebody puts it on.

I actually liked #2 better. Linda Hamilton buffed up really nice....

I agree, but that doesn't stop me from watching each one sadly.
1st movie - GREAT!
2nd movie - Decent!
3rd movie - Why did I go? :(
Sarah Connor Chronicles - Decent!

I liked #2 more than the 1st one. Now that Skynet is released, I was really hoping for an X-rating for violence with this 4th one. But alas, not even an R, what a disappointment. After all, it would be real carnage.

I liked it, wouldn't go and see it again (like Star Trek!) but it was good.

The 3rd movie had the best line ever: " I have enough C4 here to blow 10 supercomputers"
.

That's what the third movie had. Stupid lines that made me LOL for some reason. For example:
Terminator: Your confusion is not rational. She's a healthy female of breeding age.
John: There's more to it than that.

Glenn, your quote forgot the part where he said "my database does not encompass human pair bonding"
:roflmao:

#1 good #2 Best ever #3 good #4ok/decent
I was really hoping #4 would be more Mad Max like. Where are the humans getting planes & new equipment after a nuclear apocalypse? It doesn't make sense. So many little details that didn't make sense. Nice amount of action though. :)

I really hate it when they make a TERMINATOR movie with such a low age rating. It basically means "it is crap but we want all the young people to see it so we get lots of money". T2 was the best in my mind, T3 was appalling. How can you turn a terminator into a comedian?? I thought T4 looked good from the adverts (am in the UK it comes out next week) but with a 12A rating I am not impressed. It needs an 18 rating, with plenty of dismembering and carnage, it is a bloody nuclear war with robots for gods sake.

I saw Terminator Salvation last night. It was decent, but I liked the first three Terminator movies better. The second and first ones were my favorites. This one struck me as Mad Max meets Transformers. I'm glad that I saw it in the theater though, for all the booming surround sound and big screen. (I never invested in a fancy home entertainment system.)
